Hip-Hop

Introduction:

Music is an important part of people’s life. Whenever someone is sad or happy the first thing he does is listen to music. But not only to demonstrate feelings is what we use music for. People who make hip hop music, for example, come from places where the social struggle has been the most important issue in their lives, so that’s what the songs they make represent. It is your job to listen to some good and new school stuff and describe the problems. We are sending you on a mission back to when Hip-hop started, you job is to complete the following tasks. 1.    1.    We have provided you with a list of artists from the old school and the new school of political hip-hop. It is your task to identify which one is from the old school and which one is the new school.( You may answer in your notebooks) Homework for december 12th.

 2.    Now that you have separated them you will have to differentiate the social issues that were happening then and the ones that are happening today. how have they changed? In what aspects? (Write a short comment in the comment section: homework for December 16th)
3. Hip-hop is not only about music it is also a way of living. Watch the following video(click on the living rich link), once you are done ask yourself,  ´´If you had all that Money would you spend it as they do?´´ Look for things that you would buy and make your dream home.(For this assigment make a collage, you are to hand in the day of the exam)

4. To comunicate not only do we use spoken language, but also body language, breakdance is also involve in hip-hop. You have a list of movements and their description, watch the following video and write the name of each move as they appear in the video.( List the names of the moves in the comments: December 19th)

Web 2.0 all in a click

Hoy por hoy, no solo la sociedad ha cambiado sino también la forma en la que buscamos y compartimos información, de esto es lo que trata la web 2.0. Casado habla de software social, un término que me parece muy apropiado ya que se debe de trabajar en conjunto para poder lograr el objetivo, el cual es dar y recibir.  Esta forma de compartir información se ha facilitado pues las páginas de internet han ido cambiando ahora es mucho más fácil acceder a cierta información, ¨it´s all in a click of a button¨. El compartir mediante el uso de wikis y blogs lo ha facilitado todo. La palabra ‘software social’ se hace más activa en el uso de las wikis, es en estas donde un grupo de usuarios aportan sus conocimientos y se va ampliando esta información conforme vayan comentando.

¿Por qué un docente usaría la web? Muy fácil, teniendo en cuenta que no es necesario que el docente ni el alumno tengan conocimientos específicos. No solo no se necesita ser un experto sino que también así fomentamos la autonomía de los alumnos. La mayor parte de los alumnos se la viven conectados a internet pues se puede acceder a la web desde casi cualquier dispositivo móvil. Es una forma más fácil de estimular a los alumnos a compartir y sobre todo buscar información es mas fácil que ir a una biblioteca y buscar un libro del tema tratado en el aula.

Desde mi punto de vista, la web es una herramienta muy útil, saca a los alumnos del aula, fomenta su autonomía, estimula a los alumnos a leer mas, estimula la reflexión y el pensamiento critico.
